Hamburger Stew With Rice
Ingredients
1 lb. hamburger
1 large can solid pack tomatoes
1-2 cans dark red kidney beans
3-4 carrots chopped 1/2″-1″ thick
3-4 celery ribs chopped 1/2″ -1″ thick
1 large onion
1-2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. dried oregano
2-3 large bay leaves
salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
Cook hamburger in 4 qt. kettle until cooked through, not necessary to brown. Add all the rest of the ingredients and simmer until vegetables are tender. Serve hot over hot rice or in a bowl with hot biscuits on the side.
