Baked Barley Dish
Ingredients
1 C. barley
1 lb. hamburger
1 onion
1 C. diced celery
1 green pepper
1 C. tomato soup
1 C. water
1 C. mushroom soup
1 C. peas
salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
Boil barley for 1 hour. Drain. Brown hamburger then Saute onion, celery and green pepper with the meat. Add tomato soup and let simmer. Add water, mushroom soup, peas, salt and pepper. Bake at 350º until thick. Serves 6.
