Ingredients
Your favorite cookie recipe
1 (5 gallon) metal pail
Heavy duty aluminum foil
1 cookie sheet, 10″x15″
1 good bed of hot coals
Cooking Instructions
OVEN: Place pail on hot coals and put foil over the mouth of the pail. Allow a few minutes for the can to come up to heat. After about five minutes you are ready for baking. (NOTE: The temperature in your oven will not be exactly the temperature that the recipe calls for. Keep an eye on what you are cooking so you don’t burn it.) COOKIES: Make your favorite cookie recipe and follow the directions of the recipe or take the easy way out and buy the prepared cookies such as Pillsbury’s Best – Chocolate Chip Cookies. After putting the cookies on the cookie sheet place cookie sheet in the can and put the foil back over the mouth of the can. After about 5 minutes look in on the cookies and see how they are doing. CAUTION: Keep checking the bottom of the cookies so that they do not burn! They may take less time than the recipe calls for.
