Chocolate Chip Cookies With Raisins
Ingredients
1/2 C. butter, or margarine
1/2 C. brown sugar, lightly packed
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 C. quick rolled oats
1/2 C. chocolate chips, semisweet
1/2 C. raisins (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into creamed mixture. Fold in rolled oats, chocolate chips, and raisins, if desired. Divide dough by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F. about 7 to 10 minutes until lightly browned around the edges. Remove from sheet, cool, and store in a covered container.
