Deviled Cornish Hens
Ingredients
2 Cornish hens, skin removed
2 Tbsp. water
1/4 C. soy sauce
1/2 C. red wine
1 Tbsp. sherry extract
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. dry breadcrumbs
Cooking Instructions
Split hens in half down the back. Place in a shallow pan. Combine remaining ingredients, except breadcrumbs, and pour over hens. Marinate several hours, turning occasionally. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sprinkle half of the breadcrumbs over hens. Bake 30 minutes. Turn hens and sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake 30 minutes more.
