Nobake Breakfast Bars 2
Ingredients
5 C. “O-Shaped” toasted oat cereal
1/4 C. wheat germ
1/3 C. butter or margarine
1/3 C. honey
3 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
Cooking Instructions
Combine cereal, nuts and wheat germ in large bowl. Combine butter, honey and brown sugar in a 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat; boil over medium heat 2 minutes. Immediately pour over cereal mixture, mixing until cereal is well coated. Press firmly into lightly greased 13×9 baking pan. Chill several hours or until firm. Cut into bars. Store covered with foil in refrigerator.
