Beef Shanks
Ingredients
2 large beef shanks
1 large can stewed tomatoes
1 package seasoning for beef stew
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Minced garlic to taste
Enough water to cover all
2 cans sliced potatoes
1 can mixed vegetables
2 large celery ribs sliced
1 can tomato soup
Cooking Instructions
Place shanks, stewed tomatoes and garlic in the crock pot. Sprinkle with seasonings, salt and pepper. Cover with water. Cook on high until the shanks are very tender. Add potatoes, vegetables, celery and soup. Cook for a while longer.
