Ingredients

1 1/4 C. sugar
1/2 C. butter
2/3 C. milk
2 C. pastry flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs

Cooking Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. Add milk, then flour sifted with the baking powder and salt. Add vanilla. Add eggs (unbeaten) one at a time and beat each one thoroughly into the mixture. Bake for 45 minute at 375 degrees.
