Fruitcake
Ingredients
1/2 C. snipped dried figs
1/2 C. chopped dates
1/2 C. chopped prunes
1 C. crushed pineapple
1 C. dark raisins
2 C. chopped apple (1 medium size)
1/2 C. chopped walnuts
1/2 C. orange juice
2 C. whole wheat flour
1/2 C. wheat germ, toasted
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 eggs
Cooking Instructions
Combine the figs, dates, prunes, pineapple, raisins, apple, walnuts, and orange juice in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into a lightly oiled 10 inch tube pan. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 40 to 50 minutes.
