Chocolate Fudge Upside Down Cake 2
Ingredients
3/4 C. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 C. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 C. milk; room temperature
1/2 C. walnuts; chop
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. white sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 C. water; boiling
Cooking Instructions
Cream together sugar and butter. Sift together several times: flour, salt, baking powder, 1 1/2 Tbls. cocoa, milk, and walnuts. Add to sugar and butter, alternately with the milk. Pour into a greased cake pan. Sprinkle with nuts. Mix together: brown sugar, white sugar, and 4 Tbls. cocoa. Spread over top of the cake mixture. Pour 1-1/2 C. boiling water over all. Bake at 375 for about 30 minutes. Cool slightly. Turn upside down.
