Ingredients

1/4 C. butter
1 C. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 C. flour
1/2 C. chopped nuts
2-1/2 C. diced apples
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. hot water

Cooking Instructions

Combine ingredients in order given. (Batter will be thick). Bake in a greased 9-inch pie pan for 45 minutes at 350. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
