West Texas Fried Deer
Ingredients
2 lb. deer meat
1/4 C. flour
1 tsp. salt
Pepper
3 Tbsp. bacon fat
1 stalk celery, sliced
3 med. onions, cut
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 C. tomatoes
Cooking Instructions
Cut meat into serving pieces. Mix flour with salt and pepper; coat meat with flour mixture. Heat bacon fat in skillet and brown meat on both sides. Add celery and onion and saute. Add remaining ingredients and simmer covered for 1 1/2 hours.
