Sage Wheat Bread
Ingredients
2 C. whole wheat flour
1 1/3 C. milk
1 C. bread flour
1/3 C. cornmeal
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. shortening
2 tsp. fresh sage; snipped or
1/4 tsp. dried sage; crushed
1 tsp. active dry yeast
3/4 tsp. salt
Cooking Instructions
Add whole wheat flour, milk bread flour, cornmeal, brown sugar, shortening, sage, yeast and salt to the bread maker according to manufacturer’s directions.
