Potato Chive Bread
Ingredients
Small loaf:
1/2 C. water
1/3 C. buttermilk
2 C. bread flour
1/3 C. instant mashed potato flakes
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. dried chives; chopped
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
Medium:
3/4 C. water
1/2 C. buttermilk
3 C. bread flour
1/2 C. instant mashed potato flakes
2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. dried chives; chopped
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
Cooking Instructions
If bread machine typically uses 2 C. flour, use small loaf recipe. If machine uses 3 C. flour, use recipe. Follow manufacturer’s directions for loading ingredients into machine. Measure ingredients carefully. Select regular, rapid or delayed time bake cycle and follow manufacturer’s directions for staring machine.
