Stuffings For Fish Meat Poultry And Game
Ingredients
2 C. hot mashed potatoes
1 C. bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sage
4 Tbsp. melted butter or other fat
2 Tbsp. onion juice
SAUSAGE STUFFING:
1/2 lb. sausage meat
2 C. dried bread crumbs
Salt & pepper
1 Tbsp. onion juice
1 Tbsp. minced parsley
MUSHROOM STUFFING:
3 C. dry bread crumbs
6 Tbsp. melted butter
1/2 C. chopped mushrooms
1/2 tsp. powdered thyme
1 tsp. minced parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
Cooking Instructions
Mix the first seven ingredients in order given. Makes 3 cups.
SAUSAGE STUFFING:
Mix sausage and crumbs, then add seasonings. Makes 3 cups.
MUSHROOM STUFFING:
Mix ingredients. Makes 3 cups.
