Sliced Pork With Garlic And Chili Sauce
Ingredients
top quality lean pork, cut from leg of pork
1 cucumber
stock, or water
Sauce:
2 Tbsp. dark soy sauce
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. red chili oil
1 tsp. vinegar
Cooking Instructions
Simmer soy sauce and sugar together until slightly thick; mix with other sauce ingredients. Clean pork. Simmer in stock or water for about 15 minutes. Remove; cool; freeze. Cut cucumber into 12 stick shapes, removing seeds. Thinly slice pork into 12 slices; thaw. Lay a cucumber stick on each pork slice, rolling and wrapping pork around cucumber, trimming cucumber as necessary. Place in serving dish. Spoon sauce to serve.
