Exotic Fruit Cup
Ingredients
2 florida pink grapefruit
1 small star fruit sliced
1 red apple cored and sliced
1 kiwi fruit peeled, halved and sliced
2 ounces strawberries hulled and sliced
2 Tbsp. kirsch
2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed florida pink grapefruit juice
1 Tbsp. sesame seeds freshly ground white pepper
1 pinch freshly grated nutmeg fresh sprig of mint to garnish
Cooking Instructions
1. Cut each grapefruit in half thorough the center then using a small sharp knife carefully cut out the halved segments, leaving the membranes in the shell. 2. Place the grapefruit segments in a bowl and toss together with the star fruit, apple, kiwi fruit, strawberries, kirsch and grapefruit juice. 3. Using a grapefruit spoon, scoop out any remaining membrane from the shells and discard. Spoon the fruit mixture back into the shells. 4. In a small bowl combine the sesame seeds, pepper and nutmeg and sprinkle over the fruit. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint and serve well chilled.
