Chocolate Macadamia Nut Bread With Kahlua Butter
Ingredients
2 tsp. yeast
2 1/2 C. bread flour
1/3 C. sugar
1/2 C. unsweetened cocoa powder
2/3 C. chocolate chips
2/3 C. unsalted macadamia nuts or walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 extra-large eggs
2/3 C. milk
kahlua butter
4 ounces unsalted butter, softened
1/2 C. confectioners’ sugar
1 Tbsp. Kahlua
Cooking Instructions
Have all ingredients at room temperature and place them in the machine. Program for Yeast Bread Light, or Sweet Bread, and press start. Kahlua butter: place the butter, sugar and Kahlua in a food processor. Process until smooth. You can also do this by hand or with a beater, but the food processor is definitely easiest.
