Carambolas And Raspberries
Ingredients
2 C. fresh raspberries
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Drambuie, optional
1 Tbsp. ginger, finely diced crystallized
2 medium carambolas, sliced into 1/2-inch slices
Cooking Instructions
Mix together the raspberries, sugar, liqueur, and crystallized ginger. Let the mixture stand for 1/2 hour. Place the raspberries in wide-mouthed wineglasses or dessert bowls. Top each serving with some slices of carambola, and serve.
