Cape Cod Platter 1
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. pickling spice (cloves removed)
3 qts. boiling water
6 lobster tails
1 garlic clove
1/2 C. butter
12 cooked new potatoes
1/4 C. shortening
2 cans Stokley’s finest peas
Cooking Instructions
Add spice to boiling water. Add lobster tails. Boil 20 minutes, drain. Cool; remove meat from shells. Mash garlic, saute in 1/4 cup butter. Remove garlic, add lobster. Heat brown potatoes in shortening. Heat drained peas in remaining 1/4 cup butter. Arrange potatoes on plate; surround with peas. Add lobster. Serves 6.
