Butternut Cake 1
Ingredients
2 C. sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
20 ounces crushed, unsweetened pineapple, undrained
2 tsp. baking soda
2 C. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 C. chopped walnuts (not fine, pieces are better)
Icing:
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
2 C. powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 C. chopped nuts
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Cooking Instructions
Mix ingredients. Put in greased, floured 9″x13″ or jelly roll size pan for 35-40 minutes at 350. (Jellyroll pan – 10 minutes less) Icing: Mix and spread over cake.
