Blend Of The Bayou Seafood Casserole
Ingredients
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter or margarine
1 lb. peeled shrimp/crawfish
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 ribs celery, chopped
2 Tbsp. margarine
Crushed cracker crumbs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can mushrooms, drained
1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 pt. crabmeat
2 C. cooked rice
Grated sharp cheese
Cooking Instructions
Melt cream cheese and margarine. Saute shrimp, onion, bell pepper, and celery in 2 tablespoons margarine. Add to cream cheese mixture. Add soup, mushrooms, seasonings, crabmeat, and rice. Mix well. Place in 2 quart casserole. Top with cheese and cracker crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until bubbly. Freezes well.
