Big Red Cherry Cake
Ingredients
12 ounces flour
8 ounces sugar
8 ounces margarine
6 ounces glaze cherries
2 ounces ground almonds
1 tsp. almond extract
4 eggs
1/2 C. milk
Cooking Instructions
Cream margarine and sugar. Add egg yolks, beat well, then add flour, milk, glazed cherries, ground almonds, and extract. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture. Fold mixture into a greased and lined 7 inch cake tin. Bake at 320 for 75 minutes.
