Vegetarian Oatpecan Burgers
Ingredients
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. bacon seasoning
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. dried sage
1/4 C. yeast flakes
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. dried sweet basil
4 C. rolled oats
4 C. water
1/2 C. soy sauce
1/3 C. canola oil
1 C. chopped pecans or walnuts
Cooking Instructions
Mix all ingredients except rolled oats in a large pan. Stir well. Bring to a slow boil over medium low heat. Stir in rolled oats and immediately remove from heat. Cover and set aside to cool. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Shape oat mixture into 3-inch patties and place on oiled baking sheets. Bake for 15 minutes on each side. Make approximately 20 burgers.
