Sea Food Gumbo
Ingredients
1 lb. shrimp (peeled & deveined)
1 lb. lobster, do not use mock
1 lb. crabmeat, do not use mock
1 can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 lg. onion
3 cloves garlic
1/2 lb. okra
2 lg. green peppers
1 hot pepper
Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions
Saute chopped green and hot peppers, onion, cloves of garlic and okra until soft, not brown. Add tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes and all the seafood. Simmer only for 3 hours. (It is necessary to stir constantly until a heavy sauce is formed to prevent sticking.) Serve over rice. Serves 6 people.
