Grandma Forselius Stuffed Clams
Ingredients
2 dozen quohogs
1 1/2 loaves Italian bread, slightly
stale
4-5 stalks celery
4 med. to lg. onions
1 egg
Bacon
Paprika
Cooking Instructions
Put all ingredients except bacon through a meat grinder (a food processor can be used but an old-fashioned grinder works better). Mix all ingredients together with the egg, stuff into the clam shells and top with strips of bacon and paprika. Bake at 325 degrees for 1/2 to 3/4 hour, brown if necessary under broiler.
