Tuna Noodle Supreme
Ingredients
12 oz. spiral noodles, cooked and
drained
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 med. yellow onion, chopped
1/2 C. celery, chopped
1/2 C. red bell pepper, chopped
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. fresh thyme or 1 tsp. dried
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley or 1 tsp. dried
1/4 C. green onions, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 C. half & half cream
1/2 C. Miracle Whip dressing
1 Tbsp. white wine Worcestershire
sauce
1 C. cubed American cheese
1/2 C. grated Romano cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans chunk white tuna,
drained
Cooking Instructions
In a large saucepan, heat olive oil and saute the vegetables and herbs until limp, about 5 minutes. Add the soup, cream, Miracle Whip, and Worcestershire sauce; heat through. Stir in the cooked noodles and mix well. Remove from heat and add the salt, pepper, tuna, and cheeses. Place in a 9 x 13 inch greased baking dish. Top with additional Romano cheese if you wish. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly. Serves 6 to 8.
