{"id":11457,"date":"2026-02-15T19:05:33","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T19:05:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T19:05:33","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T19:05:33","slug":"spaghetti-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/wildgame\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/spaghetti-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Spaghetti"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 lb. deer burger<br \/>\n1 lb. sausage<br \/>\n1 med. onion (chopped)<br \/>\n1\/4 C. green pepper (chopped)<br \/>\n1 lg. can tomatoes (2 1\/2 size)<br \/>\n1 tsp. garlic powder<br \/>\n1 tsp. oregano<br \/>\n1 tsp. basil<br \/>\n1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste<br \/>\nSalt and pepper to taste<br \/>\n1 lb. pack spaghetti<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cook deer burger, sausage, onion and green pepper together until meat is done, drain off grease.  Stir in spices and 1 cup water.  Add tomatoes, cut into pieces.  Over medium heat, bring just to a boil stirring frequently.  Reduce heat.  Simmer uncovered 1 hour.  After the sauce has cooked about 30 minutes, prepare spaghetti according to package directions.  Stir the tomato paste into the sauce, taste, add salt and pepper to taste.  (If a thicker sauce is desired, make a roux by mixing 1 tablespoon flour into 1 tablespoon melted margarine until combined, stir into sauce.)  Pour sauce over drained spaghetti or mix together.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
