{"id":11318,"date":"2026-02-15T19:05:32","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T19:05:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T19:05:32","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T19:05:32","slug":"deer-taco-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/wildgame\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/deer-taco-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Deer  Taco  Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 lbs. deer burger<br \/>\n1\/2 C. chopped onion<br \/>\n1\/2 C. chopped green pepper (optional)<br \/>\n1 pack taco seasoning<br \/>\n1 can refried beans<br \/>\n1 (8 oz.) pack nacho chips or corn chips<br \/>\n1\/2 head lettuce (shredded)<br \/>\n1\/2 lb. shredded cheese (American or Cheddar)<br \/>\n1 (16 oz.) jar Thick &amp; Chunky Salsa  (Old El Paso, hot, med. or mild)<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cook deer burger with onion, pepper and taco spice until burger is done.  Drain off any liquid.  Over low-medium heat, stir in refried beans.  Mix and stir until combined and hot.
