{"id":10747,"date":"2026-02-15T19:02:50","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T19:02:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T19:02:50","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T19:02:50","slug":"freezer-mix-all-american-hot-dish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/vegetarian\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/freezer-mix-all-american-hot-dish\/","title":{"rendered":"Freezer Mix All American Hot Dish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>3 1\/2 C.(s) browned\/seasoned freezer mix<br \/>\n1 can corn (8 ounce(s)), whole kernel<br \/>\n1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce(s))<br \/>\n1\/4 C.(s) ripe olives halved, pitted<br \/>\n4 ounce(s) noodles uncooked<br \/>\n2 C.(s) water<br \/>\n1 tsp. oregano leaves<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. pepper<br \/>\n1 C.(s) cheddar cheese shredded<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cook freezer mix in large skillet until meat is brown. Drain off fat. Stir in corn (with  liquid) and remaining ingredients.  To cook in skillet: heat mixture to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered, stirring  occasionally, until noodles are tender, about 20 minutes.  To cook in oven: pour mixture into ungreased 2 quart casserole. Cover and bake in 375&#8242;  oven 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
