{"id":117,"date":"2026-02-22T23:29:20","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/pasta-with-creamy-vegetables"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:29:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:29:20","slug":"pasta-with-creamy-vegetables","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/vegetable\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/pasta-with-creamy-vegetables\/","title":{"rendered":"Pasta With Creamy Vegetables"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 Tbsp. olive oil<br \/>\n1 pound chicken breast, skinless, boneless, cut in small cubes<br \/>\n1 cloves garlic, minced<br \/>\n1 carrot, cut in thin 2-inch matchsticks<br \/>\n1\/2 red pepper, cut into thin strips<br \/>\n2 green onions, chopped<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. dried rosemary<br \/>\n1 tsp. dried basi<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In a large nonstick skillet, heat 1 Tbls. of the oil until hot. Add chicken; saute 5  minutes, until cooked through. Remove and keep warm. Add remaining olive oil and  garlic to pan. Heat and add carrot, red pepper, onions, rosemary and basil. Saute 5  minutes more. Add pea pods and wine. Actively simmer for several minutes, stirring,  until wine is reduced and almost evaporated. Add milk and simmer again, for 5 minutes,  to reduce. Sauce will be thin. Add sauce and reserved chicken to hot, cooked pasta. Stir  gently to combine. Add salt and pepper to taste. Ladle into four individual serving dishes.
