{"id":34,"date":"2026-02-22T23:11:16","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:11:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/orange-sauced-chicken-stir-fry"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:11:16","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:11:16","slug":"orange-sauced-chicken-stir-fry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/stirfry\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/orange-sauced-chicken-stir-fry\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange Sauced Chicken Stir Fry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>3\/4 lb. chicken breasts; boned, skinless<br \/>\n1 C. unsweetened orange juice<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. cornstarch<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. dry sherry<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. tamarind or soy sauce<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. ground ginger<br \/>\nnonstick spray coating<br \/>\n4 C. broccoli flowerets<br \/>\n1\/2 C. onion; sliced<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. cooking<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Rinse chicken; pat dry. Cut the chicken into 1inch pieces. Set aside. For sauce, stir together orange juice, cornstarch, sherry, tamarind sauce, and ground ginger. Set aside. Spray a cold work or large skillet with nonstick coating. Preheat wok or skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli and onion; stir-fry for 2 or 3 minutes. Remove vegetables. Add oil to wok or skillet. Then, add chicken; stir-fry for 2 to 4 minutes or until tender and no longer pink. Push chicken from center of wok or skillet. Stir sauce; add to the center of the wok or skillet. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Return vegetables to wok or skillet; stir all ingredients together to coat with sauce. Serve immediately over rice.
