{"id":204,"date":"2026-02-22T19:30:25","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T19:30:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/fish-soup2"},"modified":"2026-02-22T19:30:25","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T19:30:25","slug":"fish-soup2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/soup\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/fish-soup2\/","title":{"rendered":"Fish Soup2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 lbs. fresh or frozen cod or halibut<br \/>\n1\/2 C. olive oil<br \/>\n2 cloves garlic, mashed or minced<br \/>\n1\/2 C. finely chopped parsley<br \/>\n1\/2 C. sliced green olives<br \/>\n1 C. canned or fresh tomatoes<br \/>\n2 C. water<br \/>\n1\/4 C. dry white table wine<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cut fish into 2-inch square pieces.  In a covered saucepan, combine the oil, garlic, parsley, sliced olives and tomatoes.  Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.  Add the fish and continue cooking for 5 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.  Add water, cover saucepan and simmer until the fish can be flaked with a fork, about 10 minutes.
