{"id":9948,"date":"2026-02-15T19:00:49","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T19:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T19:00:49","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T19:00:49","slug":"souffle-potatoes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/side\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/souffle-potatoes\/","title":{"rendered":"souffla Potatoes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>3 large egg whites<br \/>\n3 C. cooked and mashed potatoes<br \/>\n1 C. 1% cottage cheese (8 oz.)<br \/>\n1\/2 C. fat-free sour cream (4 oz.)<br \/>\n3 Tbsp. grated onion<br \/>\n1 garlic clove, chopped<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/8 tsp. ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Preheat the oven to 350\u00c2\u00ba.     Coat a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick spray. In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on high speed, beat the egg whites for 4 minutes, or until stiff peaks form. Set aside. In another large bowl, combine the potatoes, cottage cheese, sour cream, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Beat with the mixer on medium speed for 4 minutes, or until light and fluffy, scraping down the sides of the bowl. using a rubber spatula or spoon, gently fold the beaten egg whites into the potato mixture. Gently spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 1 hour, or until slightly puffed and golden. Serve immediately. (It is natural for the souffla to fall slightly after a few minutes).
