{"id":9587,"date":"2026-02-15T18:59:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:59:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:59:11","slug":"sea-shells","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/seafood\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/sea-shells\/","title":{"rendered":"Sea  Shells"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1\/2 lb. shrimp<br \/>\n1 lobster tail<br \/>\n1\/4 C. butter<br \/>\n1 chopped onion<br \/>\n1\/3 C. flour<br \/>\n2 C. milk<br \/>\n2 egg yolks<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. white wine<br \/>\nDash nutmeg<br \/>\nHot sauce<br \/>\nSalt, pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In boiling water, put seafood.  Cook and drain.  Don&#8217;t overcook.  Cook just until opaque.  Saute onion in melted butter until tender.  Add flour.  Cook and stir until blended.  Add milk all at once.  Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.  Blend egg yolks, wine, nutmeg and hot sauce.  Stir small amount of sauce into mixture and return all at once to basic sauce.  Add chunks of seafood, salt, pepper.  Divide into individual portions using baking seafood shells.
