{"id":9248,"date":"2026-02-15T18:59:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:59:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:59:00","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:59:00","slug":"fish-chowder-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/seafood\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/fish-chowder-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Fish  Chowder 7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 lbs. cold, firm whitefish (most any<br \/>\n   kind)<br \/>\n2 lg. taters, cubed<br \/>\n1 lg. onion, chopped<br \/>\n2 carrots, sliced<br \/>\n4 lg. tomatoes, cut into 1\/8 pieces<br \/>\n1 C. fresh corn (frozen, if you have<br \/>\n   it)<br \/>\n1 C. white wine<br \/>\n2 C. water<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. black pepper<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Fillet fish and cube.  Simmer 15 minutes in water in large pot.  Remove fish and set aside.  Add taters, onions and carrots.  Bring to a boil.  Cover, heat and simmer 20 minutes.  Add wine, corn, tomatoes, fish, salt and pepper.  Simmer 10 minutes.
