{"id":144,"date":"2026-02-22T23:25:42","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:25:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/sausage-pizza-by-the-foot"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:25:42","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:25:42","slug":"sausage-pizza-by-the-foot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/sausage\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/sausage-pizza-by-the-foot\/","title":{"rendered":"Sausage Pizza By The Foot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 mild italian sausage<br \/>\n1 loaf (1 pound.) unsliced<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. italian seasoning<br \/>\n1\/4 shredded provolone C.<br \/>\n1\/2 Tbsp. water<br \/>\n15 ounce. pizza sauce<br \/>\n1\/2 Tbsp. garlic powder<br \/>\n2 packet(8 ounce.) shredded<br \/>\nmozzarella cheese<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Place sausage and water in shallow pan. Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and  simmer 10 to 12 minutes. Drain, cool slightly and cut into 1\/4 inch slices. Slice bread in  half lengthwise and lay cut side up on cookie sheet. In small bowl, stir together pizza  sauce and seasonings. Spread evenly on each cut bread half. Spread each half with onion,  sausage and cheeses.
