{"id":106,"date":"2026-02-22T23:25:41","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:25:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/sausage-breakfast-bake"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:25:41","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:25:41","slug":"sausage-breakfast-bake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/sausage\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/sausage-breakfast-bake\/","title":{"rendered":"Sausage  Breakfast  Bake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 C. pancake mix<br \/>\n1 1\/4 C. milk<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. oil<br \/>\n1 (8 oz.) pkg. brown and serve sausage links<br \/>\n1 (14 oz.) jar spice apple rings<br \/>\n2\/3 C. sugar<br \/>\n4 tsp. cornstarch<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. butter<br \/>\n3\/4 C. maple-flavored syrup<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Combine pancake mix, milk, eggs and oil in bowl; beat with rotary beater.  Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.  Cut sausage links into halves crosswise.  Drain apple rings, reserving liquid.  Arrange apple rings and sausages in serving portions on top of batter.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until set.  Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 2\/3 cup.  Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.  Stir in syrup.  Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.  Cook for 1 minute longer.  Stir in butter and maple syrup.  Serve over Breakfast Bake.
