{"id":141,"date":"2026-02-22T23:31:39","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:31:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/fettuccine-and-salmon-salad"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:31:39","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:31:39","slug":"fettuccine-and-salmon-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/salad\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/fettuccine-and-salmon-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Fettuccine And Salmon Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>8 oz. fettuccine<br \/>\n2 (7 oz.) cans salmon, drained<br \/>\n1 C. frozen peas, unthawed<br \/>\n4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped<br \/>\n1 C. finely chopped celery<br \/>\n4 green onions, sliced (tops included)<br \/>\n1 (16 oz.) carton dairy sour cream<br \/>\n1 C. mayonnaise<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. milk<br \/>\n3 Tbsp. prepared horse<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Break fettuccine into 6-inch pieces and cook according to package directions. (I forget to break the fettuccine before I cook it most of the time but no one has complained yet!)  Drain pasta.  Rinse with cold water; drain again.  Remove any skin and bones from salmon.  Coarsely flake.  In a medium mixing bowl, combine fettuccine, peas, eggs, celery, and green onions.  In another bowl, stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, horseradish, milk, salt, red pepper, and black pepper; pour over fettuccine mixture.  Toss.  Add salmon; toss lightly so as to not break up salmon.  Cover and chill thoroughly (overnight for the best flavor).
