{"id":8687,"date":"2026-02-15T18:57:10","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:57:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:57:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:57:10","slug":"radiant-chicken-bake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/poultry\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/radiant-chicken-bake\/","title":{"rendered":"Radiant Chicken Bake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>3\/4 C. flour, seasoned with salt and pepper<br \/>\n6-8 chicken breasts and\/or legs<br \/>\noil for frying<br \/>\n4-oz. can ortega whole green chilies<br \/>\n3 carrots, sliced<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley<br \/>\n1 medium onion, thinly sliced<br \/>\ndash garlic salt<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. oregano<br \/>\n2 stalks celery, coarsely chopped<br \/>\n2 can (6-oz. each) snap-e-tom tomato cocktail<br \/>\nlemon slices<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Lightly flour chicken pieces and brown in hot oil in skillet. Remove chicken to oven casserole dish. Slice chilies into strips and lay on top of chicken pieces. Combine carrot slices, parsley, onion, garlic salt, oregano, celery and Snap-E-Tom; pour this mixture on top of chicken and chilies. Place lemon slices on top of seasoned chicken.
