{"id":8429,"date":"2026-02-15T18:56:56","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:56:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:56:56","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:56:56","slug":"festive-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/poultry\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/festive-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Festive Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>4 bacon strips<br \/>\n2 chicken breast halves, with skin and bones<br \/>\n1\/2 C. soy sauce<br \/>\n1\/4 C. sugar<br \/>\n2 garlic cloves; minced<br \/>\n1-1\/2 tsp. ginger; ground<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. paprika<br \/>\n2 or 3 drops hot pepper sauce<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Wrap two bacon strips around each chicken breast; place in a shallow glass baking dish and set aside. In a small mixing bowl, combine soy sauce and sugar; add remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken, turning to coat evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Drain and reserve marinade.
