In a 13&#215;9-inch baking dish, slightly greased, add noodles, chicken, evaporated milk, soup, onion, salt, and pepper. Add 1\/2 of the cheese; mix up well. Add rest of cheese over mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 20 to 30 minutes.
