{"id":8244,"date":"2026-02-15T18:56:55","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:56:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:56:55","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:56:55","slug":"chicken-moo-goo-gai-pan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/poultry\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/chicken-moo-goo-gai-pan\/","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>4 chicken breast halves, skinned, boned and sliced<br \/>\nsalt and pepper to taste<br \/>\n4 cloves garlic; minced<br \/>\n2 C. water<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. cornstarch<br \/>\n5 Tbsp. corn oil<br \/>\n8 oz. fresh mushrooms; sliced<br \/>\n4 lb. chinese white cabbage; chop<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. sugar<br \/>\n4 Tbsp. soy sauce<br \/>\n6 scallions; chopped<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, toss the sliced chicken with the salt and pepper, garlic and cornstarch mixture. Set aside. Heat 3 Tbls. of the corn oil in a wok and add the mushrooms, cabbage and sugar. Stir-fry for 2 minutes, then cover and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from the wok. Heat the remaining 2 Tbls. of corn oil in the wok and stir-fry the chicken for 2 minutes over high heat. Add the soy sauce and mix well. Cover and cook for about 6 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Add the cooked vegetables and the scallions. Toss everything together for about 1 minute.
