Crisco<br \/>\n3\/4 C. buttermilk or sour milk<br \/>\nFILLING:<br \/>\n1 1\/2 C. molasses (table)<br \/>\n1\/2 C. sugar<br \/>\n4 Tbsp. flour<br \/>\n1 pt. cold water<br \/>\n1 tsp. vanilla<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Crust:<br \/>\nMix dry ingredients.  Cut in Crisco and stir in milk.  Add more flour if not stiff enough to roll (soft dough).<br \/>\nFILLING:<br \/>\nStir sugar and flour together.  Slowly add cold water, then molasses and vanilla.  Bring to a boil and cook until thick.  (It will get thicker when cooled.)  Put in pie crust between rolled out bottom and top crusts.  Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until brown.  Makes 2 (8 inch) pies or 1 (10 inch) pie.
