{"id":123,"date":"2026-02-22T23:30:29","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:30:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/easy-boston-cream-pie-cake"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:30:29","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:30:29","slug":"easy-boston-cream-pie-cake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/pie\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/easy-boston-cream-pie-cake\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy Boston Cream Pie Cake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>5 1\/2 ounce vanilla pudding and pie filling mix<br \/>\n2 1\/3 C. milk<br \/>\n2 ounces unsweetened chocolate chopped<br \/>\n1 Tbsp. unsalted butter<br \/>\n1 tsp. almond extract<br \/>\n1\/2 C. whipping cream; whipped<br \/>\n1 yellow cake layer; baked and cooled or buy pre made from supermarket<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Chocolate Graham Crust: Use pan spray to grease a 9- or 10-inch pie plate. Combine all  ingredients, except egg whites. Whisk egg whites until frothy stir into crumbs. Press  crumbs into greased pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 7 to 10 minutes. Cool. (Avoid  ready-made crust due to sugar content.)  Raspberry (or Strawberry) Mousse Pie: Puree the berries. Strain through a sieve until  seeds remain; discard. Sprinkle gelatin over 1\/4 C. of juice. Heat berry puree just to  warm. Add softened gelatin, stirring until completely dissolved. Add sweetener to berry  mixture Cool until the consistency of raw egg whites. Stir in cold yogurt. Return mixture  to refrigerator. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Whisk 1\/4 of beaten whites into  berry mixture fold remaining egg whites into mixture.
