{"id":6594,"date":"2026-02-15T18:51:37","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:51:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:51:37","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:51:37","slug":"fillets-almondine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/microwave\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/fillets-almondine\/","title":{"rendered":"Fillets  Almondine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1\/4 C. sliced or slivered almonds<br \/>\n2 Tbsp. margarine<br \/>\n1 1\/2 lb. fish fillets, cut into serving pieces<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n2 tsp. lemon juice<br \/>\nLemon slices for garnish (optional)<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Combine almonds and margarine in 8-inch square microwave-safe baking dish. Microwave (high) uncovered, 2 1\/2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once.  Remove almonds with slotted spoon; set aside.  Add fish fillets to margarine, turning to coat with margarine.  Cover with plastic wrap.  Microwave (high) 6 to 7 minutes or until fish flakes apart easily, rotating dish once.  Sprinkle with salt, lemon juice and almonds.  If desired, garnish with lemon slices.
