Irish Brown Cake
Ingredients
2-1/2 C. flour
1-1/2 C. raisins in 2-1/2 C. water (cook raisins to boiling , then drain, saving 1-1/2 C. water for cake)
1 C. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. oil
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, slightly beaten
Cooking Instructions
Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 325 degrees for 1-1/4 hours in greased and floured loaf pan.
