{"id":6271,"date":"2026-02-15T18:50:02","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:50:02","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:50:02","slug":"lo-cal-casserole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/hamburger\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/lo-cal-casserole\/","title":{"rendered":"Lo-Cal  Casserole"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1 sm. head cabbage<br \/>\n1 lb. ground chuck or beef<br \/>\n1\/2 C. chopped onion<br \/>\n1\/2 C. rice<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp. salt<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp. pepper<br \/>\n1 can tomato soup<br \/>\n1 1\/2 C. water<br \/>\n1\/4 C. grated Parmesan cheese<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Chop cabbage into medium pieces.  Spread in bottom of a 9&#8243;x13&#8243;x2 &#8221; baking dish. Brown meat and onion in skillet; drain fat. Stir in rice, salt and pepper. Spoon meat mixture evenly over cabbage. In same skillet, heat soup and water to boiling. Pour over all ingredients. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover tightly with foil.
