{"id":6156,"date":"2026-02-15T18:50:01","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:50:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipe4thecook.com\/\/"},"modified":"2026-02-15T18:50:01","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T18:50:01","slug":"basic-hamburger-beans-biscuits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/hamburger\/blog\/2026\/02\/15\/basic-hamburger-beans-biscuits\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic Hamburger, Beans &amp; Biscuits"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>2 lb. lean Hamburger<br \/>\n2-2 lb. cans of pork &amp; beans<br \/>\n1 jar mesquite BBQ sauce<br \/>\n1 jar regular BBQ sauce<br \/>\n1 jar hickory smoked BBQ sauce<br \/>\nketchup and mustard<br \/>\nonions<br \/>\nbiscuit mix<br \/>\n1 C. shredded cheese<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Brown and drain the hamburger. Add both cans of pork &amp; beans.  Mix well. Add as much or as little of the three BBQ sauces to the  mix. Again, mix well. Add Ketchup and Mustard to taste. Once all  is mixed, add a handful of chopped onions (the finer the better).  Let simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.    Make your biscuits. Cut out in circles. Cut circles in half  giving two half circles. Stir the Beans &amp; Hamburger. Arrange  biscuit halves on top of simmering beans. Stand biscuit halves on  end so that round halves are up. Cover the complete top of the  beans and hamburger mix with biscuit halves. Add all the shredded  cheese on top of biscuits. Bake for 30 minutes at 400\u00c2\u00ba.
