{"id":28,"date":"2026-02-22T23:23:22","date_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:23:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/barvarian-sausage-salad"},"modified":"2026-02-22T23:23:22","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T23:23:22","slug":"barvarian-sausage-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/recipes4thecook.com\/german\/blog\/2026\/02\/22\/barvarian-sausage-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Barvarian Sausage Salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Ingredients<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>1\/2 lb knockwurst,cooked \/ cooled<br \/>\n1    onion,medium<br \/>\n1 T  mustard,prepared *<br \/>\n1\/2 t  salt<br \/>\n1\/4 t  paprika<br \/>\n1 T  capers<br \/>\n2    pickles,small<br \/>\n3 T  vinegar<br \/>\n2 T  vegetable oil<br \/>\n1\/4 t  pepper<br \/>\n1\/4 t  sugar<br \/>\n1 T  parsley,chopped<\/p>\n<p>*  Mustard must be the strong Djon or<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b><font face=\"comic sans ms\" size=\"5\">Cooking Instructions<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Cut the knockwurst into small cubes.  Mince the pickles and onion. Mix together the vinegar, mustard and oil.  Add salt, pepper, paprika and sugar.  Adjust seasonings if desired.  Add the capers; mix well. Stir in the chopped knockwurst, pickles, and onions.  Just before serving, garnish with chopped parsley.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>&nbsp;In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
